URGENT MESSAGE TO HOMEOWNERS

Proposal to Construct T-Mobile Antennas & Canisters on Top of Baha'i Faith Center

The Baha'i Faith Center is seeking County Board approval to allow T-Mobile to construct two (2) quad telecommunication antennas inside concealment canisters and two (2) associated equipment cabinets on top of its roof. Since the Baha'i Faith Center is less than 40 feet in height, a minor special exception is required by the County Board of Supervisors. There have been two public hearings on the matter, most recently on October 12, however, only two Cardinal Glen community members have attended to speak out against the proposal. Thanks to a motion from Susan Buckley, the proposal was forced back to the Transportation Land Use Committee. However, unless we as a community voice our opposition to the proposal, it will likely pass at the December County Board of Supervisors Meeting. Given the proximity of the Baha'i Faith Center to homes in our neighborhood, please join us in expressing opposition to the proposal before November 5, 2010. This will give the Transportation Land Use Committee a chance to hear our opposition before they make a final recommendation to the board.

WHAT CAN YOU DO?

Before November 5, send an email to the County Board of Supervisors at bos@loudoun.gov .

In your email, please let the County Board of Supervisors know:
